Our Retreat in September 2019 was held at the Franciscan Retreat Center in Colorado Springs. More than thirty ladies participated this year.
We had a very well-lit room for sewing with nice windows and good lighting for evening sewing. A second room was just a few steps away for the overflow of tables for sewing, as well as pressing and some cutting. It was also the Game Room! The hallway between offered a nice coffee bar (with real mugs) from 6:00a - hot water & a selection of tea was also available.
A few of us stayed up late to sew, though not as late as past Retreats.
Some of us went on a "field trip" to Ladybug Hill Quilt Shop and the Mill Outlet. Another trip went to Ruth's Stitchery.
Our rooms were nice, with different antiques in every room, and every room had a private bath. The Dining Room was a short walk, though we shuttled a few ladies back/forth by car. The food was delicious and plentiful!
The grounds were lovely - very peaceful - good for a walk or just a break. The deer were plentiful and not shy!
